Racial Justice Dialogue: MA Indigenous Legislative Agenda

  • Zoom remote call your home MA (map)

While we are all focused on the containment efforts, it's doubly important to keep up public pressure to get the bills for the MA Indigenous Legislative Agenda to a floor vote. Jean-Luc Pierite, our guest speaker, will discuss this Agenda with us and give us clear action items during this remote meeting. http://maindigenousagenda.org

We are honored to have Jean-Luc join us. He is a member of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana and the President of the Board of Directors of the North American Indian Center of Boston (http://www.naicob.org/).

More details about this meeting will be posted as we plan it.

Zoom (remote call) details are posted on our Meetup page.
We welcome donations for the North American Indian Center of Boston.

All are welcome.

To help us be prepared for all participants, please register if you can come to this meeting and update it if your plans change; use our Meetup page (also to learn about our other events) or email the organizer (4change.resource@gmail.com).

Monthly meeting overview:
Please join in the conversation as we continue to get real about the problem of racism in our world, and move toward personal and collaborative action. Our Racial Justice Dialogues are opportunities to talk openly about racism and other forms of oppression in our society. This series is a part of Boston Knapsack Anti-Racism Group. Please join us to continue sharing our experiences, hopes and dreams about living in community beyond race. All are welcome.

- This group meets the first Saturday of each month...usually (but not for the Zoom call) in the Moon Room on the 2nd floor. Come in the side door off of School Street.

- Please let us know your needs so we can help make the event accessible for you. Note: there is a ramp near the main entrance, and an elevator available. The elevator is tricky so please arrange to meet one of us five minutes or so before the meeting so we can help.
