Book Discussions with BKAG

  • Dates and Olives 26 MA 27 Natick, MA, 01760 United States (map)

Join us to discuss these books:

April 15 - Reproducing Racism by Daria Roithmayr

May 13 - There There by Tommy Orange

June 10 - My Grandmother's Hands by Resmaa Menakem

We meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 - 8:45. We ask that you come prepared to order at least one item from the local restaurant that is hosting us: Dates and Olives. Many of us eat dinner there. We share what stood out for us...what challenged us, what we learned, questions we have… whatever comes up. Try to come with a favorite part to share. (THIS MIGHT BE A ZOOM CALL INSTEAD. See our site below.)

This discussion group is a part of Boston Knapsack Anti-Racism Group. Go to this meetup page to read about the books and to RSVP.

Registration is required as it helps us be prepared and it gives us ways to communicate if there are changes in plans. Alternatively, you can email the organizer (4change.resource@gmail.com).

If your plans change, PLEASE let us know ASAP. Thank you!

- Parking is available on the street. Let us know your needs so we can help make the event accessible for you. Meeting location suggestions welcome.
