Founded in 2016 through the inspiration of Natick citizen Jamele Adams, the Natick Freedom Team has the mission of "preserving freedom through unity in the community." Its members meet monthly with the goal of serving the community by offering dialogue and support.
With the Support of the Town of Natick, Natick Freedom Team, and Natick is United, the Natick Police Department has established:
a New hotline phone number
(508) 647-9548
to report bias-motivated threats, harassment and violence.
The hotline will be monitored by the Natick Police Department. While not every incident will be appropriate for legal action, the Natick Police will work closely with the Freedom Team and Natick is United to support victims and educate where appropriate.
Anyone who has witnessed or experienced bias-motivated threats, harassment or violence may call the Town of Natick Hotline at 508-647-9548.
Potential Hate Crimes - including bias-motivated assault, battery and property damage - should also be reported directly to the Natick Police Department as soon as practical. Residents who fear for their immediate safety should call 911 immediately.
