This month's meeting continues the discussion around that of interracial marriage. The folks who came to the November meeting requested this follow up...as there was much more we didn't have time for.
We will discuss personal questions such as:
What are your experiences with interracial couples?
Have you been/are you currently involved in an interracial relationship?
Have you ever experienced, or has a loved one experienced, problems being in an interracial relationship?
Over the course of your life, what changes or lack there of, have you witnessed regarding the treatment of interracial couples?
What still needs to improve or have we “got it” at this point in history regarding interracial dating/marriage?
Monthly meeting overview:
Please join in the conversation as we continue to get real about the problem of racism in our world, and move toward personal and collaborative action. Our Racial Justice Dialogues (RJD) are opportunities to talk openly about racism and other forms of oppression in our society. Please join us to continue sharing our experiences, hopes and dreams about living in community beyond race. All are welcome.
