"Restorative justice repairs the harm caused by crime. When victims, offenders and community members meet to decide how to do that, the results can be transformational." from http://restorativejustice.org/ (go to link to learn more)
We will discuss:
- What is restorative justice?
- What have you heard about it?...or been a part of yourself?
(Kyle will share her experiences in the prison system and tell us about organizations in Massachusetts doing this work.)
- What might it look like in a community or on a personal level?
- What could you do to help with the efforts already started?
Please join in the conversation as we continue to get real about the problem of racism in our world, and move toward personal and collaborative action. Our Racial Justice Dialogues (RJD) are opportunities to talk openly about racism and other forms of oppression in our society. All are welcome.
